A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF . . .

Personal:

Travis lives in Detroit, MI, with his wife, Misty, and their seven children. He loves the San Antonio Spurs, Green Bay Packers, and University of Louisville basketball and football(UofL alumni).

In his free time, he enjoys being active outside with his large family (riding quads, go-karts, sports, and hiking) and making YouTube videos and podcasts for his channel at www.chapsdevos.org

The ideal day for Travis begins before sunrise with time in the Word, a good cup of Joe, followed by a walk with his lovely bride, Misty Dawn, of over 21 years.

Career:

Travis began his leadership career in 1999, serving in various churches in the Midwest, and eventually became an active-duty Navy Chaplain in 2011. He has served with Marine infantry, Submariners, Navy surface fleet, and Coast Guard.  

In 2022, Travis founded J1010Creations to help people better understand themselves and others and that they were created for so much more in this life.

Passion:

He loves journeying with others toward a deeper understanding of the lens through which they view and relate to the world around them.

A firm believer that we all have areas we are blind to, Travis uses the Enneagram and other tools, education, and life experience to help clients avoid falling into unhealthy patterns and grow holistically.

Travis loves his family as a devoted Christian and encourages others to walk in a faith community with others.

Reaching a place of harmony between your calling and your mental design can be aggravating, confusing, and overwhelming.

But that doesn’t have to be your story.

He has spent the better part of the past 20 years working to understand himself and his calling from the surface to a deeper reason why we do what we do, not just behavior modification.
